Chris Schiller

Chris was a homebrewer for over 5 years and had wanted to scale up to commercial brewing since the start. Specializing in porters, stouts, belgian trippels, and bavarian wheats, he rounds out some of the offerings at Hailstorm. He designs the labels, and coming from a career in consulting and software engineering, Chris supports the accounting/finance/IT operations of the busines.

Gene Wabiszczewicz

One of our founding owners, Gene was instrumental in helping us get opened. He was our first delivery driver, then warehouse manager, providing mechanical, maintenance, and brewing assistance in the brewery.

Wil is one of the most accomplished brewers in the midwest. He has shared his talent with Goose Island, Revolution Brewing, Open Outcry and many other excellent breweries. Wils dedication to perfection shines though in every sip.

Private Events at Hailstorm Brewing


Our taproom is an excellent place to host your private event! For Corporate, Birthdays, Showers, Weddings, Fundraisers and anything else, we would love to host your event.

Semi-Private Open Bar - available Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday for any three hour time slot between 10am and 10pm. This package includes one hour of set up & decorating time, not included in the party three hour time frame. Seating up to 64 people in a reserved area. Open Bar Package for $25 per person includes Beer, Seltzer, Cider & NA Beverages (Wine options available). We would still be open to the public but you would have half the taproom.
Deposit: $250 to be applied towards the final bill at the conclusion of the event.

Semi-Private Cash Bar - available Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday for any three hour time slot between 10am and 10pm. This package includes one hour of set up & decorating time, not included in the party three hour time frame. This package is a table rental fee of $75 per table for up to 64 guests. Your guests would pay for their own tabs. We would still be open to the public, but your tables would be reserved.
Deposit: table reservations would be paid in advance.

Private Events (Full Taproom) - available Mondays for a three hour time frame. This package includes one hour set up & decorating time, not included in the party three hour time frame. Extended time available for an additional rental fee. Seating for up to 112 people, seating plus standing for up to 150. Open Bar Package for $30 per person includes Beer, Seltzer, Cider, & NA Beverages (Wine options available).
Deposit: $500 to be applied towards the final bill at the conclusion of the event.
